The Speedball Clay Boss is designed for the entry-level ceramicist. The 0.5 HP industrial motor will accommodate up to 100 lbs (45 kg) of clay.

Mounted on a sturdy steel frame, the Clay Boss has a table size of 26" × 21" (66 cm × 53 cm) with a height of 19-1/2" (50 cm). An included 2-part splash pan fits around the Speedball 14" (356 mm) steel wheel. Great for left handed or right handed ceramists, the reversing plug allows for the wheel direction to be change quick and easily. The foot pedal offers solid state variable speed electronic control (0-240 rpm) and the load-sensing control ensures that the wheel head speed is maintained at all times. Also included are two bats.
