Handbuilding Basics Pottery Class | 2-Hour Beginner Clay Workshop
Curious about pottery but not ready to jump on the wheel? Our Handbuilding Basics class is the perfect introduction to working with clay.
In this 2-hour beginner pottery class, you'll learn the fundamental handbuilding techniques used by ceramic artists to create functional and decorative pieces without a pottery wheel. Guided by one of our experienced instructors, you'll explore slab building, pinch pots, and coil construction while creating your own unique pottery piece from start to finish.
Whether you're looking for a creative night out, trying pottery for the first time, or searching for a fun activity in San Antonio, this class is designed to be approachable, relaxing, and rewarding for all skill levels.
All clay, tools, materials, glazing, and kiln firing are included. Once your piece is completed, we'll glaze and fire it for you, and it will be ready for pickup approximately 3-4 weeks after class.
