Mica White is a distinctive clay reminiscent of traditional Indian pottery from around Taos, New Mexico. Although the original mica mine is closed, this clay retains its unique character. It can be glazed if bisqued to Cone 04, and is ideal for burnishing and firing to Cone 08-010. Its rich heritage and versatile firing options make it a compelling choice for artists seeking a touch of Southwestern authenticity.
